The staff make this hotel feel extra special. They are professional, welcoming, always willing to help. Special thanks to the lovely lady on reception and the gentleman who looked after us on the bar terrace.
Rooms and everywhere we went was very clean. Comfortable beds, stunning views of the lake and a varied breakfast. Plenty of places to relax and a pool terrace that is bathed in sunshine all day. Location is good for the town, lake and boats

The location of the Hotel Lido was excellent as it was situated on the edge of the lake and was very tranquil. The breakfast selection was good - lots of choice! The room was of a decent size and had a lovely balcony overlooking the lake.

Our room was clean and comfortable and we had an amazing view of the lake. There was a wonderful breakfast buffet that was included with our room. The reception staff are very welcoming and always willing to help. There is an outside bar and seating area that was nice for enjoying a cocktail overlooking the lake. Manuel was our bartender each night and was very accommodating and such a hard worker aiming to please his customers. The hotel is close to the train station and a very short walk to the ferry port and downtown Desenzano where there were several restaurants to enjoy. We did not have time to enjoy the pool since we had severe thunderstorms on our first day and the remaining days were spent exploring the lake.
The hotel rooms are somewhat dated. There was a TV mounted on the wall right where you need to walk by the bed. I was happy that we didn't end up knocking it off the wall before we left! The bathroom shower was very small and the bathroom door trim was gouged away to allow for the sink drawer to open.
