This is an old fashioned Grand Hotel in the 19th Century fashion, but it benefits from having been built in the 20th century so has modern amenities like a pool, roof top terrace, beach access, etc. Best of both worlds in a town full of Grand Hotels.
Super good staff, valet parking, excellent breakfast, lively terrace bar crowd.
No complaints. They got me in my room three hours early at no charge. Even found and delivered some papers I inadverantly left in the bar. After three days, everyone knows your name.

The location was excellent.
Rooms slightly dated.

Location was wonderful; in short walking distance to Sorrento town, overlooking the sea. Bonus to have the private elevator to the beach which allows one to skip expensive taxis. Fantastic breakfast offering with gracious wait staff and lovely piano music. Room amenities were good .
Hospitality of front desk staff was inconsistent. A smile and warm greeting from all would have been appreciated.
