This was my 20th trip to Egypt, I come once or twice a year for work and I can say that the customer service, amenities, and treatment were exceptional. The Marriott in Zamalek was one of the best guest experiences out of all the 5-stars hotels I have stayed in, in Egypt.

Large hotel. Good facilities and good choice of restaurants. Lots of helpful attentive staff. Nice pool area - always managed to get a sun bed. Quiet location but close to city centre.
most of the hotel shops were closed due to work being done.

Warm, attentive staff made a clear difference particularly Nader at the front desk and Mohammed Qamar from house keeping, who consistently went above and beyond to create a welcoming and memorable experience. There were genuine moments of care, professionalism and effort that stood out and are worth recognizing. The newly renovated, fully electrical suite is also a strong upgrade, offering a modern and sustainable concept that adds to the overall appeal of the property.
The stay was affected by repeated operational gaps, and delays in basic services. Communication was often reactive rather than proactive, and some interactions felt procedural instead of service-driven. However, management acknowledged the issues and committed to improvement.
