Was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included and it was a full menu as well as continental buffet. I had the full vegetarian breakfast and my partner had the black pudding benedict, both were delicious. It was great that the hotel is dog-friendly too so we could take our dog. The room was cosy and tastefully decorated, and stayed warm despite cold temperatures outside!
The bar was a little expensive, however much the same as most others on Islay. The car park became full quite quickly so often we had to park across the road.

The food and service were really good.
Th size of my room was very disappointing.

Bright and modern, lovely staff, good food.
Being locked out at midnight because our afterhours key didn’t work- the locks had been changed. A note of an emergency number to call by the door would have been helpful. As it was, a local PC called the manager who turned out to let us in.

It's centrally located to various parts of the island when travelling by car. Staff was great and there's a restaurant on site with wonderful breakfasts and dinners. There's also a gas station and small market across the street. We really enjoyed our stay.
