I liked the views and the amenities around, and of course our lovely host.
I didn’t like that we had to ask for mosquito repellents, why is it not readily available in the rooms. Also my booking had breakfast but for floating breakfast I had to pay another R500, why not just pay R200 for set up in the pool (because initially when I enquired they said I will only pay R200 for set up)

The views are stunning from the communal areas, the position is very central. The rooms have all you need.
The entrance and parking is very difficult. You need to walk up a steep staircase and carry all your luggage. Parking is not secure and if you have a large car/bakkie you really are going to battle to get in and out of the parking, you will also not be able to squeeze past larger cars to get into your space.

The breakfast was lovely
Pillows were nice and comfortable
The place was dirty (not dusty dirty but old dirty, like its been sometime without deep clean)
The bed was horrible, me and my partner still have back pain
The windows are letting air in even when closed
Cupboard doors dont close
Fireplace cracked, so at some point the house was full of smoke
