Loved this quirky old hotel. Our room and bathroom were huge and very well decorated. The room was warm, clean & smelled lovely. Breakfast was great value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great location in town, easy walking distance to shops, pubs, cafes and the castle. Would recommend it to family & friends.

The room, bar and restaurant were all immaculate and atmospheric. Superb staff, very attentive. Felt like a gorgeous, cosy and special stay. Convenient location, great food and drink on site and very comfortable and spacious. Would absolutely stay again.

Nothing

Location was great, really close to the centre. Room was quiet (apart from bathroom fan)

Bathroom had bad drain smell and bath fan was very loud and long. Mattress wasn’t the comfiest for us personally and the bed frame was very oddly shaped for the space, we kept stubbing toes and couldn’t lean back against the headboard for reading before bed ect. Breakfast was standard chain breakfast, nice but nothing to write home about.
