Great location, great view of castle from room.
Lugging bags up the stair case was tough.

Location was fantastic. View of river out of one room and Guildhall and Castle out of the other. Room was good size and bed comfortable.
The staff (from restaurant below) were helpful and pizza we had was very good.
Paper bag breakfast was good apart from the sad croissant.
Bedding and towels had a few mystery marks on them but not so as to be unusable.
I would still stay there again.

Location is everything for Johnny Doughs
The property and rooms themselves are very dated with woodchip wallpaper, windows that need locks fitting and cleaning. There's no heater in the bathroom and the whole place looks and feels like it needs some TLC.
