Location was excellent and plenty of lovely trails and paths in very close proximity. Views were incredible form the windows! Can even see the sea from the village!
Community shop was in the same building g which was convenient. The man who let us in and served us in the shop was friendly and helpful and told us about the history of the slate engravings. We arrived on bingo night for the village and was invited to join in by the locals - loved how friendly it was.
Rooms were spacious and well set out and there was a clean large community kitchen and communal area with books and games. Even a laundry although we didn’t use that. Easy parking outside the property and it was easy to find. The rooms are very basic though so expect a hostel feel rather than a hotel.
The drains in the bathroom were a little whiff but let the cleaner know and she gave them an extra scrub - much appreciated. Location is remote - no pub for food or drink in the village and need to drive to get to a shop other than the small village community shop. Not a problem but something to be aware of.

This is a great little hostel, perfect base for exploring the area. We spent two nights here, and made use of the facilities to make food. Each room has its own cupboard and area of the fridge which is great!
The bathroom had a damp smell to it

Very friendly and tranquil place to stay for family. Shared kitchen with fridge. Each bunk beds have own reading light. Shop is helpful whenever you need something urgent. Otherwise Tesco is around 12min away. Close to a few trails that you can venture with kids. Lovely place to rest for the venture next day.

The facilities met our needs for this type of trip. It was good to have access to a fully equipped kitchen and the cabin beds were comfortable.
Had a problem with the drainage in the shower room. The main door to the building was insecure all night, which was a concern. Issues were raised with the accommodation after the stay and the response was prompt and the building management assured us the issues would be addressed.
