Our stay at Raffles Jakarta was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations in almost every way.
We stayed in a Garden King Room on the 17th floor, which was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed and offered lovely views of the pool, gardens and Jakarta skyline. The room was luxurious and extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was fantastic, with an extensive selection of Indonesian dishes alongside international options, including sushi and dim sum. There was also an à la carte menu in addition to the buffet. Everything we tried was delicious, and there was honestly more than we could manage!
We also enjoyed the Writers Bar, where we tried their Jakarta Sling, and made use of the 24-hour in-room dining after returning late from a concert. The food arrived surprisingly quickly and was excellent. The hotel's artwork and interiors added so much character to the experience, while the direct connection to LOTTE Mall was extremely convenient.
But what truly sets Raffles Jakarta apart is its people. The service was impeccable. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, articulate, attentive and genuinely welcoming. They consistently went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. It never felt forced, and that level of hospitality is something special.
Ultimately, Raffles Jakarta delivered something beyond a luxurious hotel stay. It created an experience that made us genuinely want to return, and I think that's a remarkable achievement.
Highly, highly recommended. We would gladly stay here again!
If I had to mention a couple of minor areas for improvement, the lifts could be rather slow despite there being four of them, and we noticed a slight musty smell in the enclosed toilet area that may be worth looking into. Neither detracted significantly from our stay.
