Lovely mini villa very close to the town with a beautiful view over the sea, charming gardens and a heated pool
There is an industrial yard underneath the car park which spoils the view slightly, this didn’t bother us it might seem a little bit of a shame for some people

Spacious and clean but not as I had imagined. The lady who greeted us for check in was really nice, very helpful explaining everything that we needed to know.
Be aware that the 310m distance from the cable car station is uphill…either a 5 - 10 minute walk round the road with pavement or up over 130 steps-if you have a car you would still have to walk cos of parking. Depending on your mobility this could be a problem. Taormina has many steps so choose your accommodation carefully. There was no bar/restaurant which is fine but there was only 1 cafe/restaurant close by that closed mid afternoon..if you didn’t want to cook you have to go you the hill for every meal. The trek up the hill had to be factored into our days as you couldn’t just “nip” back for an hour. The pool area was shabby and in need of TLC. The sun beds were old and looked dirty, no cushions etc so not comfortable to lay on although pool towels were provided. The view that you see on the pictures is taken from 1 spot that you only get from a couple of sun beds. The pool area was unkempt with leaves and flowers etc from trees not swept away and an unplugged rusting old vending machine in view.

Sparsely decorated apartment. Tatty pool and pool area. Pool water was like a jacuzzi super hot. Weird. The most uncomfortable pool loungers ever no surprise they were empty even in August.
