We only stayed for one night. It’s ok for the money and it included “breakfast” (toast with spread and instant coffee). They gave us a ground floor room (we were travelling with baby and stroller).
The staff didn’t say much. But again, we only stayed one night. The bathrooms need a bit of maintenance.
But overall our stay was good and would come back if I ever go back to Sandakan.

Excellent location and very friendly staff that can help you arrange tours! Free tea, coffee, and toast for breakfast!
The dorm and bathroom were dirty and there was a terrible smell in both. Only the bottom bunk beds have curtains. Pillows and beds are extremely hard!!! I had to roll up my towel and use that as a pillow.
