Close to the centre piano ( flat area). View from the upstairs terrace was very good.
Access to the actual property down 67 wide cobbled ( formed by rocks, not pavers) steps..extremely steep and not suitable for wheeling suitcases. The property is approx halfway up or down the steep walkway. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties or older people. ( we are not in that category)
As we are traveling for 6 weeks plus, we have medium suitcase of approx. 15 kegs,so not heavy but difficult to manage on the cobblestones.
Parking in a garage ( 29 Euros per day) is not far. Directions given to the property were good. ( do not rely on GPS based device directions)
It appears that it is difficult to get accurate parking information until after you have made a booking.

Layout a bit disjointed as built into an old property. A bit small. Not easy to find.

La vue sur Matera depuis la terrasse.
L'absences d'information concernant l'accessibilité (beaucoup d'escalier pour accéder au logement) avec une grosse valise. Heureusement nous sommes en bonne condition physique.
Parking gratuit mais a 10' à 15' de marche avec les escaliers. le petit déjeuner plutôt simple (pain, beurre confiture cake) il n'y avait pas de laitage ni de fruits.
Petite chambre, salle de bain avec rideau de douche en plastique.
