All it was an excellent location. You are right in the heart of the Old Town. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly If I had a negative it would be the lack of in room copy period and do not follow Google map directions as it will lead you in the wrong direction

A lovely hotel in an ideal spot to take in the wonder of Matera. Lovely room, helpful staff, good breakfast, spotlessly clean. The building itself is very atmospheric with a number of common areas that reflect it was once a palazzo!
