Great location, had a wonderful stay

Perfect location! Easy access to all the big sites plus super close to tram stop and ferry pier. Room was clean and basic. Minimal street noise considering how busy the area is.
Check-in was at 2pm however the room wasn’t ready until after 3pm which was trying after coming straight from the airport after a 24hr journey.
There is no lift plus a big staircase down to the front entrance.

Very central, quiet and friendly staff.

Location was ideal, close to everything you’d want to visit in downtown Istanbul, but on a quiet street.
I don’t want to slam the place, but I believe in an honest review. There was a lot of very loud noise each night up until midnight from other guests slamming their doors, which amplified and echoed through the narrow stairways into our room, the reception was rarely staffed and took a significant amount of time to arrive each time we needed something (once not at all and the property attendee had to call a neighbouring property’s manager to help us check out), the payment machine was not working so we had to go out to find cash to pay our bill, and the bathrooms were in need of some basic maintenance (grout was pretty moldy in the shower). Each one of these things is just an inconvenience, but add them all up and it’s enough to be frustrating instead of being able to enjoy our stay.
