Most of staff and the owners are very kind and helpful. Reception worked well and helped with lots of things. Well organised kitchen with free stuff.
Only one bathroom per floor, but several ones in the basement, one was always free.
Clearly a hostel with focus on socialising. The common eating area was usually extremely loud, at times until late, even though there's a dorm next to it. Some volunteers were part of that and had no feeling of responsibility whatsoever. Also a lot of talk between volunteers about others. Eating or cooking there was often overwhelming due to the noise. Asked for toning it down and was not met with friendliness. There is a basement for social activities.
Very small and therefore pretty much useless lockers in the rooms. Rooms also quite packed
