Beautiful
We had no hot water in shower and toilet flush was rubbish and as I have Crohn’s disease this was a problem

Convenient
Nothing really. Maybe some more lighting in the car park. The Kate check-in process was excellent. I was tired so I took a lie-in and didn’t eat breakfast.

The room was a lovely size and the poached egg at breakfast was perfect.
When I arrived at the property a lady said are you checking in asked my name and said your in room 12 that way . I asked if there was a restaurant she said no but they did bar snacks. I took my stuff to the room and went to order food as I was hungry I ordered a cottage our and a beer. The room I sat in to eat was freezing cold and I waited quite a long time for my food when eventually the lady came out and said sorry we can’t find any mash. I got up to go to the bar to pay for my beer but was told there was no charge. I had to ask what time breakfast was as I hadn’t been told I then had to go back to reception as I couldn’t get the heating to work and was told I had to put my key in the slot in the room however I still couldn’t get it to work. When I went back out there was a different lady who came to help me and after a while she realised it was switched off at the side. She asked me if I’d like a sandwich which I accepted.
In the morning I went to breakfast. Whilst waiting for my food I had an orange juice which had a fizzy taste to it and was fermented. I spoke to a lady in the breakfast room who tasted it and agreed it was off. I then thought I’d have a croissant whilst I waited. It was individually wrapped and displayed a best before date of 13/10/26. When my breakfast came I couldn’t bring myself to eat the sausage or bacon as I was worried about the amount of time they keep their food
All in all it wasn’t a very pleasant stay
