Exceptional location with two balconies on the river!

The most amazing location and view.
The bathroom was pretty basic and a thorough clean underneath the couch and in corners wouldn’t hurt.

In addition to the experience of a well located, well appointed, and nicely renovated apartment, what was exceptional about this place was the view off the balcony (e.g. the bridges, the river, the sunset effects, the Port Houses). For us it just captured most of the amazing things about Porto that we came to experience. We were also able to enjoy a welcome change in meal habits by utilising the many features of the kitchen. The option of being able to grab a car from the airport also helped with logistics and the driver was knowledgeable about our location which made the short walk from the main street to the apartment easy.
Being so close to the river, its associated thoroughfares, and a couple of restaurants, the downside of experiencing the city with the apartment's windows open was a bit of noise and cigarette smoke being drawn inside. In fairness I note the doors and windows are double insulated so sleeping was not a problem.

Perfect location, very quiet considering it was on the esplanade. Beautiful historic building with amazing brick walls and stunning facade. Plenty of space, clean, warm homey vibe.
Nothing.
