Fantastic host and the breakfasts were excellent - homemade pastries were really yummy. There is a nice swimming pool in private surroundings and off street parking. Walking distance to town - note it is uphill on the way back.
There was nothing we didnt like.

Peaceful and private setting with an abundance of character. We were offered a bountiful breakfast by our very finely hosts. We would definitely stay again.
10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
The homeliness of the accommodation plus our host and her husband. Such inviting people to allow us to be at their home.
Finding the plz d the first time … google maps took us the most difficult way instead of the easiest way.
9 / 10Outstanding·May 2026
Very comfortable garden cottage surrounded by beautiful greenery and trees. Kitty was a great host and also a fantastic baker. Fresh bread and pastries each morning for breakfast. The cottage is a 20 minute walk downhill into Napier. Easy to catch an Uber after dinner each night to take you back up the steep hill.
Nothing not too like
