The welcome was especially lovely and very much appreciated as I had just driven for nearly 6 hours in the worst rain I have ever experienced. That's saying something as I'm english!
Checking in was quick and easy and my room was spacious and had everything you would expect.
Next day I was over whelmed with the understanding and generosity of the lovely lady on reception, allowing me time to check if my destination was safe to get to after the torrential rain. She had provisionally booked me in for a second night if needed, also allowed a late leaving time until I had more information. Above and beyond helpful and, as a single female I really appreciate this and would highly recommend this motel to others. It's also good value for money! Thank you Applegum Inn!! 😊

Good central location, easy check in and out process, didn’t even have to talk to anyone but there was a number available if needed. Good amenities and fine for a short stay.
Shower pressure was strong and the tiling of the shower could use an update as it was all chipped and worn out. Firmer pillows would be ideal. No big deal however.
