Such a unique place with a really creative and laid-back atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the staff were super kind, and there’s a kitchen with plenty of space to cook. The location is great, with the station just nearby. I also loved that they sell their own merchandise and have a little workshop where they customize T-shirts, caps, tops and more with embroidery and prints. The whole place has so much character and is absolutely worth staying at!
The bathroom is right in the middle of the hallway, which felt a little awkward at times, but honestly nothing major.

Stopped in for a night to rest while on the road to Shikoku and was pleasantly surprised by how charming the street was. The building is so cozy and you can see that the owner really cares and has put a lot of personal touches to make guests feel at home. Staff were friendly and offered great suggestions. I had zero expectations, but this ended up being one of my favorite stays of the trip.

Lovely little hostel with friendly staff. We were very lucky to catch the bon odori event they put on for their local community - super wholesome, great vibes.
Rooms could do with a little TLC - perhaps some nicer curtains/blinds and some artwork on the walls. The futon was comfortable but difficult to set up. We actually found a booklet explaining the steps in a drawer. This would’ve been good to have out on the futons so guests have something to refer to.

The location is 15 minute walk from the station which is helpful. The beds are big and the dorm is female only.
Address on booking is wrong so was difficult to find. Only 2 toilets for everyone and there’s no bidet. The AC in the room doesn’t get cold enough so I was sweating. Also expected to make your own bed with white sheets and take them off when you check out. The staircase is very steep to the room.
