The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the old town and close to shops, restaurants and cafes.
Claire and the rest of the front of house staff are outstanding - fun, friendly and helpful; thanks for the great experience . The housekeeping team also do a great job keeping the hotel impeccably clean.
The bed was big and comfortable - the shower was good
The room had no windows and with the dark furnishing was a bit depressing without natural sunlight, but at least there was no road noise.
The WiFi in the room wasn’t that great which made online meetings challenging.
Breakfast was OK but no excuse not to have fresh bread everyday - one day it was frozen in the middle

I’m so glad we made this our base to start/end our cycling trip. Tom and all of the reception team are so, so kind and helpful. We were able to book and early check in and airport taxi to make arrival easy, and also left our luggage at the hotel while we traveled in the country. Breakfast is good, wifi works, and there’s even a small gym. Lovely place and great location!
