We loved this location and the staff were brilliant at finding us somewhere to park on site. The breakfast the next morning was really exceptional and staff very lovely. We really liked being able to make tea in the morning too in our room.
The carpets really are in bad shape, on the stairs this was especially bad. In our room, while I am sure that our room had been vacuumed, the carpets had quite a few large stains, it didn’t feel clean due to that. The bed probably is due to be changed, it felt a bit worn out.

Location excellent. Car Park close by and beach easy walk to. Room ‘Till’ well decorated and had all the accessories we needed. Great shower!
I don’t want to return to a hotel completely dog friendly hotel. I stayed in the top bunk bed so I could be sure no dogs would have been on the sheets.

Food was good in the evening and breakfast. Location excellent. Manager on duty in the evening was good.
After a long walk we were looking forward to using the bath in the room, or at the very least a hot shower. There was not hot water. We were told by one member of staff that this was down to other guests using the water at the same time but not offered a solution. After waiting for 45 minutes for the water to heat up we managed a luke warm shower before dinner but that was a rush, and no bath. At dinner the manager gave us free drinks and dessert which we very much appreciated. However, please sort the hot water out - it really does ruin the experience.
