The people that run the riad are honestly some of the most honest nice people I have met in over 30 countries I have been to they really try their absolute best to make sure you are comfortable.
The location is a little far away from the main square personally for me it wasn't a big issue as I like walking and if you read the description it clearly says how far away it is but it's still easily walkable

The location in the quieter N part of the medina means you can escape from the more touristy southern part when you want to get away, but are still fully immersed in the medina

The Riad is traditional. The staff are pleasant. It seems like a safe area but it's VERY run down.
The position is not good. It's a long walk to the main square and the streets and alleys are difficult to navigate even with Google maps. We planned 3 excursions which meant leaving the Riad by 8:15/8:20. Breakfast is served at 8:30 . We managed to get a coffee and a yoghurt but it hardly constituted a breakfast. There was loud drumming on 3 of the nights, apparently there was a wedding taking place at a neighbours residence.
