The hotel is absolutely wonderful! The breakfast was excellent, and every member of staff who welcomed us was professional, courteous, and genuinely attentive. Everything about our stay was delightful. The bed and pillows were excellent, the towels were lovely, the shower was great, and having an espresso machine and tea facilities in the room was a wonderful touch. Everything was simply perfect.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It was, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in England. An outstanding experience from beginning to end!
Nothing at all. There was absolutely nothing to fault. Everything was perfect, and we could not have asked for a better stay.

The room was very glamorous with antique furniture and a roll top bath in the bedroom and separate wet room.
It was like being in a film set.
The food was not up to the standard of the room. Disappointing.

Quaint, old English pub, with great rooms and excellent food

Great location. Friendly and efficient staff. Good breakfast and dinner
Cluttered bedroom with no bathroom - just a toilet and shower squeezed into a small space. Bath and washbasin in the room itself alongside a lot of clutter. All this and very expensive!
