The ambience, the helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the food
The room was a little dark which made it difficult to read.

a warm welcome and a comfy stay in a great location. The pub has a nice buzz in the evening with friendly service and a good range of drinks on offer. A good range of breakfast options all cooked to order.
the room could have been cleaner, the bathroom was very cramped. the room lighting was very gloomy - due to the filament style led bulbs everywhere. The view from the breakfast room out onto the terrace is rather sad - dead plants, broken and abandoned pizza oven and a basket of soggy wet blankets. The yoghurt and fruit options at breakfast were either very limited, or some days missing altogther.

Lovely hotel, great room, friendly helpful staff and evening menu absolutely brilliant- so much choice and all cooked to perfection, cooked breakfast good too. Walks on moor from hotel- leaflet provided+ few minutes from station and Ilkley town centre- great shops.
Whilst there is whole fresh fruit- oranges pears & apples at breakfast it would be nice to have some prepared fruit - blueberries, compote or tinned fruit or maybe some bananas
