Very spacious and clean. A bit old fashioned but all facilities are functioning well. Nothing to complain about.

Location, rooms.
Ray at concierge and some executive lounge staff. Cleaning ladies always smiling and attentive. Loved the free laundry .
Breakfast items repetitive and runs out quickly, staff do get overwhelmed at times.
Check-in took too long and staff wanted us to pay extra for things not advertised on booking .com.

We liked the Location, the hotel facilities, the amazing room...
The Executive Lounge was ok but still need a bit of work with the concept, however this is pretty common in China and other Asian destinations...

The standout feature of my stay was undoubtedly the Premium King River View Room. The panoramic views of the Huangpu River and Shanghai skyline were spectacular and easily the highlight of the entire experience. Waking up to the cityscape each morning and enjoying the glittering skyline at night made the stay memorable.
The hotel also benefits from a prime Pudong location and has all the physical attributes of a luxury hotel. The public spaces are impressive, and it is clear that Regent aims to offer a premium five-star experience.
While the room was comfortable, the bathroom felt noticeably dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Knowing that this property was formerly the Four Seasons Pudong helps explain some of the ageing elements, but guests should still expect facilities that reflect modern luxury-hotel standards.
The breakfast experience was underwhelming. Staff were often inattentive, and requests were not consistently fulfilled, making what should have been an enjoyable experience feel frustrating at times.
