The cottages are neat and comfortable, in a secluded location with a beautiful, quiet / private beach. We barely left as we had everything we needed on-site and only wanted to move between swimming, napping and eating…. Worlds away from the huge commercial developments in some parts of the island, this felt much more local and untouched. Lovely staff and delicious food.
It wasn’t a problem for us as we spent almost the whole time on the property, but the two evenings we did go out, grab/taxi drivers were a bit unsure about taking us home as they hadn’t been to the area before and hesitated to turn down the rough road. It wouldn’t be the best place to stay if you wanted to be out and about a lot at night as it is far from everything. One of the showers didn’t work on our first day but was quickly fixed.

We had a wonderful stay at Bamboo Cottages. Its relatively remote location, away from the big resorts, gives you the perfect opportunity to unwind and slow down. The team are lovely and incredibly helpful, and the cottages are charming and beautifully connected to nature. The ocean views are simply breathtaking.
It’s also worth mentioning the restaurant run which serves absolutely delicious food that even my four-year-old enjoyed!
Bamboo Cottages is a family-run business with a real mission behind it, which makes the experience all the more special. Highly recommended!

Loved the sound of the waves, watching the fishing boats, the ocen and being able to see it all from my bed.
Could have been cleaner

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although property is very isolated, hotel are great in organizing transport into town, restaurants and airport and it’s very affordable.
Rooms had a lot of bugs, dead and alive. furniture was old and some broken. A lot of dirt in corners, door frames under bed ect.
