The location was great. Walking and using the trams allowed us to explore so much. There are plenty of supermarkets and places to eat close by. The room was small (as expected) but fine for two of us with little luggage. There was a kettle, fridge and the air con worked well for hot Hong Kong weather! We paid extra for breakfast. It was ok. A good selection of hot and cold food. Pastries were a little stale and not much choice in fruit. The CityFlyer airport bus is a short walk away and was very convenient.
Bed was way too hard for me, even with the mattress topper! Paid extra for harbour view and while it was nice, it was obstructed. Not as nice as the pictures promised!

Location was great for what I needed to do, 5 min walk to the harbour, and 15 min walk to get the ferry or boats to other place like Macau or the ferry to the walk of stars, you can easily jump on a bus 5 min walk from the hotel to go almost anywhere for cheap
The only thing I dont like was the view from the room , I laid for a view but got a wall of apartments but, I wasn't in the room for long just to sleep so was ok

Good location in the centre and close to the harbour piers; easy communication by underground or bus or tramway, nice view on the city or the sea, comfortable room
I stayed six days and breakfast could be more diverse, air conditioning was not controlled by a remote control

The main advantage of this hotel is definitely the location. It is very convenient for exploring Hong Kong, with public transport, trams and the MTR within easy reach. The harbour view from the higher floors can also be beautiful, and considering how expensive Hong Kong accommodation can be, the price can be one of the few reasons to choose this hotel. However, I would say that if you are looking for a comfortable and modern hotel, you should seriously manage your expectations. The property is quite old and, in my opinion, is long overdue for a proper renovation. Some rooms may look acceptable in photos, but in reality the furniture, bathroom and general condition of the rooms feel tired and dated.
Unfortunately, there were quite a few things that made our stay disappointing. The biggest problem was the very strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The smell was really unpleasant and was noticeable throughout the stay. For a hotel of this standard, this is simply not acceptable. There are also signs of ageing throughout the property, and the rooms and bathrooms clearly need renovation and better maintenance. Also, despite the beautiful harbour view, I would strongly recommend avoiding the 32nd floor. The view may be impressive, but there are technical machines/equipment on the roof above this floor, and they make a considerable amount of noise. For us, this was especially noticeable and made it difficult to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep. So, if you decide to stay here, I would recommend requesting a high-floor harbour-view room, but NOT on the 32nd floor and away from the elevators. If you are lucky with the room, the view can be a real highlight. Overall, I think the hotel is mainly suitable for travellers who prioritise location and price over comfort and modern facilities. Hong Kong is an expensive city, so if you find a very good rate, this hotel can make sense as a budget option. But don’t expect a modern or freshly renovated property.
