Clean, comfy, all is as one would expect from a motel, most of the staff generally friendly and courteous to us.
Over heard some sub-ideal interactions between manager and some staff, front of our room. I guess the 'Barracks' part of the name of the place really rings true, the whole place has that slight assertive vibe, from the manager 'Sergeant major' :)
I expected more of a hospitality vibe instead, first impression of manager was somewhat abrupt, not quite suited to a welcoming hospitality environment, in my opinion.

Had an issue with my bed and it was promptly resolved. Nice room and nice patio to sit outside
A bit far away from city center and most things
