The location is great in Old Quarter, still hotel is located in a quiet alley. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can exchange money and buy sim card at the desk. Room is nice (I had n. 501 on fifth floor with balcony, good stuff), lift is welcome.
All good.

A peaceful escape from Hanoi's crazy streets. The balcony was the same size as the room + caught the evening breeze.
Very basic - old air-con unit (took ages to cool the room down + for us to figure out the settings), tired towels and bedding, not totally clean (hair in the drawers/floor). Key system was a bit tempramental. Fine for the reduced price we paid through booking.com but absolutely not worth the full price of £69 per night.
