Overall, quite an expensive hotel, and we honestly expected much more.
On the positive side, breakfast was good, with a nice selection, and the onsen was a great addition. It's small but comfortable if you visit at a quieter time.
When we arrived to leave our luggage before check-in, the receptionist was surprisingly rude — something we hadn't experienced anywhere else in Japan. Check-in is only after 3 PM, while check-out is already at 10 AM, which feels quite restrictive considering the price.
The constant check-out reminders on the room TV, along with warnings about additional charges of thousands of yen for staying longer, created a rather unwelcoming atmosphere.
After two weeks in Japan and stays at five different hotels, we can confidently say this was our most disappointing experience. The facilities were fine, but the warmth and hospitality we've come to appreciate in Japan were unfortunately missing here. We wouldn't choose to stay again.
