Staff were fantastic, location was so central, we walked everywhere. Room was perfect for our family and the communal lounge with view of the Acropolis is a huge asset.

This is a small boutique hotel, the lift is tiny but that is a minor compromise.

Breakfast option wasnt selected but it would have been to go offsite to a nearby bakery. We did use the same store for our second morning on our own accont and they provided a good light breakfast for us.
As arranged beforehand, we arrived after our flight into Athens just after 8pm. The door was locked and reception unoccupied. A fellow traveller had the code for the front door and let us in. We then were able to make contact by phone and discovered a message was sent by Booking.com at 6.30 pm containing the codes we needed, provided by the hotel. This is not good enough. Why couldnt this be provided to us earlier in the day before we boarded the plane. Ie before Email becoming unavailable.
This was the second example we had, in our 6 week holiday, of the same problem. Our booking at Oban in Scotland had access available from 3pm and we received the access codes from Booking.com at 4.35pm and we were left in the rain for nearly 2 hrs.
In both cases the accom provider said the problem was with Booking.com.
Take more care and changes your notification process, please.

The location was great, and the included breakfast was at a bakery across the street. We had amazing omelettes there every morning. There was a sitting room and balcony on our floor. which was nice and very much needed as the room was too small to really hang out in.
Unfortunately, our room was a very small and the bathroom was very narrow with a tiny shower. I am not a large person, but I could not even turn around in it. It did not have a door, it had a plastic curtain which was constantly coming in contact with my body while I was showering. Then when you got out of the shower, you had to turn sideways just to get past the sink. Definitely not a pleasant showering experience! There also weren't enough places to plug in our devices. One of the outlets did not work, so we had to unplug the coffee machine and the table lamps to have useable outlets. This was likely an apartment building converted into a hotel. There was one other room on our floor. It's very possible some of the other rooms were nicer than ours.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were friendly.
My room was very tired and looked out on a wall. The breakfast was in a cafe round the corner, The reception was closed from 6pm. Although they asked when you were arriving they gve no indication if you were going to be late you would need an access code. This was unsettling.
