We went in with our eyes open that this hotel was undergoing a major renovation, let me just say that I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The property has the most incredible location and the staff and amenities were wonderful. We weren't impacted by the renovation except for the gym and spa being closed. The historic charm combined with the luxury feel were perfect for us.
They didn't offer any apologies or concessions for the lack of gym or spa, but for a short stay this wasn't a problem. This is the best place to stay in Aswan, and they know it.

I loved everything about this property. It was grand, beds were dreamy, big bathrooms, perfect views, and very attentive staff!
