It was comfortable but overpriced

The view

A little overpriced in my opinion

8 / 10

It was an experience

The nature/wildlife all around cabins and restaurant and the Japanese inspired dinner at restaurant

It was a long way off the main road and even further from freycinet

10 / 10

Excellent stay

Location and room appointments and proximity to restaurants

Driveway up to the resort needs potholes filled

10 / 10

Very special place on earth

Everything. Beautiful location totally secluded on top of a mountain/hill. Beautiful cabins with uninterrupted views of forests and the ocean. Very private and totally quiet in the middle of nature. We had four kangaroos munching away right in front of our terrace! The staff (hostess Lucille and the kitchen chefs) are very friendly. The Japanese restaurant kitchen is out of this world next level. Best prepared salmon in my life. Extensive Sake wine list. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Everything was fine. Be careful driving the last 4 km's: it is a gravel road and there are some deep potholes. Normal car should drive very cautiously. SUV 4*4 should be just fine.

I liked the view, it was pretty special..

It didn’t live up to the expectations I had with how much we were paying & the onsite restaurant only offered Japanese cuisine & options
