We didn’t opt for breakfast but the room and facilities were great. Exactly what me and my partner needed

Cosy and nicely decorated. Everything i needed for a one night stay. Central location. I would stay again. Single room. Walking distance from train station and then to Chester Marathon start line.
Slight smell of drains from the bathroom but other than that. Great stay.

Clean, welcoming, comfortable and as a lone traveller I felt safe. The greeting I got on arrival was lovely and I had the owners phone number. I did contact Claire with a query and she was so helpful and kind.
Everything was better than I could have hoped for

No breakfast offered
Could have given complimentary water, more sugar and herbal tea. Plug in sink was so difficult, struggled to let the water out. The single bed creaked terribly, woke me up a few times. Too many cushions. The double bed had bits on the sheets and stains.
