Beautiful view overlooking the Lake. The choice of breakfast food was excellent and the two Onsens on site were outstanding-one rooftop view overlooking the lake and volcano and the other with a tranquil enclosed outdoor garden. The staff were unfailingly helpful and my room was very spacious. A great place to stay

The view of the lake and the breakfast.
The indifferent attitude of the front desk a well as the restaurant staff. They should be trained to take more pride in their job. A little smile goes a long way. No one helped with the luggage or even attempted to help us with the luggage. They all assume we know what to do. Everyone look tired and as if we owe them a living. Will we back there ? Unlikely at the price they are charging. The room was no great shout but mainly its the attitude of the people working there. Even if the price of the room was half the price we paid , we won't go back there as we didn't feel welcome at all. Avoid it like a plague!
