Historic, Beautiful, great staff, great tour and great food.
There was quite some tourist as expected to the historical site, perhaps some more restriction/ signs to the guest area would be great

There's not much to say apart from spectacular old world charm. The room is very large nice bathroom cloths storage and our room have access to the pool via a courtyard. The bar was cosy and the staff fantastic.
It's not that i didn't like it but is a moderate walk in the heat to the centre of Georgetown. Not the end of the world and you can always take a taxi, there are shops restaurants close by so no big deal.

This was the highlight of our three-night stay in George Town, Penang. You can tell the care that went into restoring and maintaining this beautiful, historic property. The staff are top notch, from the friendly main entrance guard who always greeted us with a smile whenever we entered and exited the property to the helpful front desk staff, cleaning staff, and many more. We loved our room, the Mandarin, and the little touches from the decor to the complimentary daily treats and drink cartons. The pool with a switch to turn on the jacuzzi, and garden are lovely as well, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of food. We joined one of the 3:30 pm tours led by Sally who was informative and entertaining as she explained the history and design of the mansion. Highly recommend anyone visiting George Town to stay here, and if we were to ever return to the city, we would jump at the chance to stay here again.

The blue mansion was amazing - so beautiful and interesting. Felt like stepping back in time in the best way possible. The staff were wonderful and so welcoming and always greeting with big smiles.
