For our circumstances excellent location and facilities

Good location which was also close to the local shopping centre. The on-site sauna was great and the dvd library was a nice touch. On-site parking was very convenient. Rooms were comfortable. This accommodation also offered 10% off at some nearby local restaurants.
The spa was a bit too cool to be comfortable. Hallways would benefit from some ventilation.
Guests should also be aware that Beachside Resort runs as apartments (i.e., no room service, no bar/restaurant facilities) - This is not a problem, but helpful for people to know what they're booking.

The location close to the beach/walkway and across from the shopping centre, park and surf club was excellent.
The staff on the desk were very pleasant and helpful. We were given a small rebate for the two days of building wash that happened during our stay.
Birdlife in the little park was very good.
The facilities are tired and the furnishings are well worn. Our 4th floor apartment was dated and had not been renovated like some apparently had been.
The ‘gym’ is very limited.
The bed was not very comfortable.
