The Guesthouse, the view and the location are amazing.
8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Spacious kitchen & public stay area with good quality kitchen equipment, sufficient shower rooms and toilets, no crowding before the doors, thankfully.
An additional microwave would make sense given the many people staying.
7 / 10Good·Sep 2026
Not too bad.
Location is a bit remote, not much you can do around that area. The room is a bit tight for 4 crammed in the space (no shower and need to step out changing clothes if you have men and women living together there.

Has everything you would expect from a Guesthouse. Nothing more, nothing less but the breakfast was good.
The kitchen is the same space as where you eat your breakfast. Missing a sink to rinse cutlery etc. If you want to have contact with the Icelandic environment it is OK but the guesthouse is a good distance from the nearest community -Eyjólfsstadir.
