Overall the lodge was beautiful and very well located with fantastic views. The staff was great and the owners amazing - everyone was really nice and helpful making our stay wonderful. The food was another plus - everything was just delicious! We definitely recommend this place!
Maybe a small detail: the windows can never be completely closed so a few lizards and insects always came inside, particularly during the night.

Staff exceptional. Owners are wonderful, kind people who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is peaceful and the beach/sea beautiful.
Nothing. It is a top class hotel, wonderful staff and excellent value for money for such a high standard. Food is great and drinks excellent!

The lodge is extremely beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The pictures really don’t do it enough justice. I spent 5 nights and had a very relaxing stay. Booked the room with a private terrace and woke up to a view of the ocean everyday and slept to the sound of waves
The staff are friendly and very helpful. They had great recommendations for things to do and even helped organise transport for me for my movement within and outside Watamu
The breakfast menu was limited, with the same options served every day. A little more variety would have made the experience even better

Our stay has been just wonderful, from the lovely staff and our hosts to the cozy accommodation and great location. If you are looking for a little hidden gem to switch off and feel completely at home, the charming Lonno Lodge is definitely the place to be.
Honestly, the only thing we didn't like is that it's just a bit too far from home, meaning we can't pop over for a long weekend whenever we fancy! It's such a special place, and one we'd love to visit on a regular basis
