Clean. Quiet. Good location. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Good parking.
The only thing we would have liked was a way to change the room temperature. It wasn't cold in the room, but it wasn't cozy. The bathroom was lovely. Perhaps we missed something.

Room was well appointed, very clean, comfortable and quiet. All the hotel staff were attentive and friendly. Car parking space was easy to use and ample space.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room was beautiful, homely and had everything we needed, and the food was absolutely amazing. We especially appreciated the kindness of the night porter when our little boy was unwell during the night. The whole team went above and beyond to make our stay special.
The only small thing we noticed was that there weren’t any plug sockets next to the bedside tables, which would have been useful for charging our phones overnight. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Ideally situated for the town and railway
For a mid-range hotel I would have expected it to have gone the extra mile in customer satisfaction. The food was OK but clearly not freshly cooked but pre-prepared as it arrived too quickly after ordering. Portions were also somewhat disappointing.
