Location and staff

The location is great - it's right by the harbour, which made for a really nice experience.
I was assigned a room on the 5th (top) floor, which clearly looks like a poorly integrated extension to the building. My stay coincided with a heatwave, and the room was absolutely suffocating. There was a fan provided, but it did virtually nothing to cool the space down - it just moved hot air around.
For the price I paid, I expected much more humane living conditions, especially considering that the property prides itself on being eco-friendly. It’s particularly frustrating because the lower floors actually look quite decent, while the top floor feels completely neglected.
The shower facilities were also highly questionable. They had no ventilation whatsoever, making it intensely stuffy and far too easy to overheat while just trying to wash up.
Overall, a very disappointing experience and poor value for money.
