Staff in the dining room were super . Breakfast was very good
evening meal was not so great - rock solid quail eggs wrapped in black pudding ! Lumpy mash potatoes , very greasy onion rings .

Fantastic location in a beautiful wood. Beautiful building and garden. Comfortable and spacious room. Friendly staff.
Quite noisy at times-till 11.30 at night- not sure what it was? Maybe have a ‘quiet time’ notice? Breakfast had a good variety although unfortunately a bit cold when we got there. Shower pressure wasn’t strong- but ok.

As ever a lovely historic hotel. Mostly lovey staff clean evennif in places the dear hotel is worn.
The menu lacks a bit of interest, but that's OK if you dont mind fairly basic fare.
