Good location, ample free parking and functional
Room not for relaxing but really only wanted a bed for the night. Restaurant ok but quite popular and have to pre book

Breakfast was good and the lady who looked after us was friendly and efficient
It is difficult to find a hotel in Horncastle and particularly that will allow you to book for one night

Staff friendly
The room was very dated and although it is an old building the decor in the room and bathroom was tatty with dated furniture. Window wasn't great with noise from the courtyard smoking area quite loud. Didn't use the shower as the cubicle was very dated and had a lot of mould around the seals / grouting. Hot tap leaked and was loose in the sink and the cold tap had a large limescale deposit on the spout. All of these are fairly easy to rectify.

"Great room. Great price. If you are from near London like I am, then the beer is well priced too"
