The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was full of character relating to its history in Cruden Bay which was lovely. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and catered for a low fat, low salt and low sugar diet.
It would have been nice to have been offered help to carry our suitcase up the stairs as there is no lift at the property.

The location was perfect for visiting family, the amazing beach and Slains Castle. The room was massive, very warm and clean, with breakfast included. Other meals very reasonably priced and very large portions.
