The X Hotel Brunswick Square

The room was lovely. Full of character and great location.

That check in was via WhatsApp and all the extra add on costs- extra for waiver, extra for early or late check in, extra to pick your room which I thought was already picked via booking com.

The place was very clean, nice towels provided. The cleaners were excellent, very kind and helpful, they were always available to help when needed.

The window blinds were a bit broken.

Room was well appointed. Clean.

Check in is over what's app. Not easy.

The location was great and rooms very clean

It was noisy. Poorly decorated, took an hour to check in despite it being via Whatsapp AI. There was hidden fees, poorly maintained and I did not feel comfortable at all. I wouldn't recommend for solo travelers as there were so many people coming and going and no staff. There was a keypad entry to the hotel but often propped open. There was a key lock with a key on a string. Not sure how often the key lock code changes. The place had paint touched up, chipped bathroom furniture and a badly put together door which whilst you can lock inside the room, the key remains in the key lock on the outside. You have to take your own rubbish away and the rooms are very cramped
