The breakfast was very good, the hotel was very clean, the suite we booked was not the one we thought we would be getting based on the photos. The hotel is dog friendly which was not a problem, but our room and duvet smelt of dog, the bed was comfortable and room very spacious and the bathroom was large clean and nicely decorated. While the food in the restaurant in the evening was okay, there wasn't enough waiting and bar staff attendance in the evening. Long waits for food and drinks to arrive and long waits between courses. This is not a reflection on the staff but the management need to ensure more staff .
When booking a room it would be nice to know in advance if dogs have stayed in the room. Also what room you are actually getting, as there was obviously several different suites, but I was not impressed by the one we were allocated, I was expecting to stay in one of the nicer rooms.

The room was just what i wanted well stocked with refreshments good view over Fiscal Bay and the Harbour both my dinner and breakfast were well presented and quality the staff were very good. Nice gentle walk around the area surrounding hotel.
The walk up from the town with my suitcase but that was not down to the hotel.

We really liked the size of the room, the bathroom, and how comfortable the bed was. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.We also really enjoyed the breakfast, with a great choice of items, as well as the lovely views from the table.We liked the spa facilities overall, although we felt there is some room for improvement, especially with the jacuzzi.
The location of the hotel is absolutely top-notch, with amazing views and excellent access to beautiful walking paths. It was one of the highlights of our stay.
We didn’t like the lack of attention to detail when it came to maintenance and room upkeep. There were several issues, including broken blinds, a damaged chair seat, ripped curtain, the poor condition of the balcony. The balcony door was also difficult to open and close, and the mini fridge was not cooling at all but firdge was sorted the next day.We also noticed that the room amenities were not replenished during the room clean.We also noticed that part of the jacuzzi was broken. The spa pool was also being used by children who were screaming and jumping into the water, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the facilities. We feel that better supervision and clearer rules around appropriate behaviour would improve the overall spa experience.The quality of the toilet paper was very poor, and there was also no toilet brush provided in the bathroom. These are small details, but they would make a difference to the overall comfort and experience.
The room was too hot, and unfortunately there was no air conditioning or even a fan provided to make the hot days more comfortable. This made it difficult to relax and sleep comfortably.
