Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western Porth Veor Manor Hotel

As locals taking a night out for date night, we decided to stay in this peaceful old manor house, and it did not disappoint. Our room (Room 22) was lovely, clean, and spacious, featuring a very comfortable bed and a great waterfall shower with plenty of room for two. When we stay again, we will definitely be requesting this room. Breakfast was amazing. The continental selection included wonderfully fresh fruit, delicious little jars of honey that were perfect over pastries. Theres a small black fridge at the end of the counter stocked with a fantastic selection of thick, high-quality yogurts. From the four daily cooked specials, I chose the ham, cheese, mushroom, and tomato omelette, which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the full English breakfast with perfectly poached eggs. He is quite fussy, but he noted the bacon was some of the best quality he’s ever had—and the sausage was so good I ended up eating most of his! In hindsight I wish we would have requested we swapped out the hogs pudding for an extra sausage or bacon. The breakfast room had amazing views of Porth Valley and headland as well as the hotel grounds. The grounds surrounding the property are beautiful to walk around, and while we didn't get a chance to try the heated outdoor pool during our one-night stay, it looks fantastic for our future visit. Every staff member we encountered was attentive and genuinely helpful. Management and the owners should be incredibly proud of their team. We look forward to returning! Staff even offered to carry our luggage to our room, which was nice of them. Hotel was quiet and we wasnt disturbed by other guests.

Maybe a small fridge in the room to keep bottled water/drinks cold. The toilet flush was a little fiddly and hard to flush. We didn't report this at the time because we only stayed one night, but maybe this could be looked into, if staying more than one night it would have been quite frustrating. It's a shame the restaurant is no longer operating as we'd heard quite good things and seen previous reviews about this. But breakfast made up for it.

Beautiful hotel with a great view of the beach Staff are lovely Breakfast is delicious and great value Highly recommended

Location as well as being well kept and spotless

Parking was tricky and poor location for local places to eat on foot. Lots of stairs inside property

Room small but clean and comfortable with nice view.

Walls are paper thin so noise transmission (TV and talking) quite bad, fire door out side of the room slams shut and clearly audible in the room.
