The Swan

Friendly, welcoming staff. Large clean room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent food at both dinner and breakfast. London Pride. A really good location near to the castle. Highly recommended.

Staff were excellent! Hotel was great and in a great location in the town. Only stayed for 2 nights.

Food score 8 out 10.

The room had everything I needed, was filled with light, exceptionally clean and the staff was great!

Central location, lovely little town, beautiful castle , about a mile walk to a lovely pub overlooking the River Arun called The Black Rabbit.

No smoked salmon despite it featuring heavily on both the breakfast menu and the main menu. We were told they where expecting a delivery this morning, but after two days still no salmon !. They actually sold it in the shop close by ! . Milk or teabags weren't refreshed in our room. It states in the room booklet that you can order light bites and have them brought up to the room. But there where no light bite options on the menu and when we questioned it they just said oh sorry the booklet needs updating
