I liked the lovely welcome I got from Caroline on the reception, she made me feel very welcome and at ease. Room was lovely.
At 8-30 a key in the lock and then knocking on the door, a woman asking me if I was vacating the room because she wanted to get a headstart on cleaning. Check out isn't until 11. Then the fire alarm went off.

The Norfolk Arms is a wonderfully historic building in the heart of Arundel, making it a great base for exploring everything this lovely town offers.
My room was perfectly nice. As an older property, it shows its age in places, but that’s part of its quaint charm. If you enjoy somewhere with a bit of history and character, you’ll appreciate it.
The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. A lovely place to stay, with bags of character and an excellent central location.
